Hi guys! Last week I was traveling with a plane to visit my dad, and a lot of stress and anxiety piled upon me about traveling, flying and overall life. After surviving the flying, I realized that I need to spend more time on grounding myself. And what better way to learn than having positive affirmations in your phone. Today I have created 13 FREE positive self-affirmations for those who are struggling with anxiety.

At the moment when you feel anxious, it is hard to estimate how long you will feel like this and when it is going to stop. And the hardest part about anxiety remedies is that the most effective ones need to be trained every day. Yes, every single day. We all have such busy schedules and hectic lives, then how are we supposed to manage every aspect? Well, I have recently understood that the most important is your mental and physical health. I have not yet mastered it, but meditating and deep breathing is one of the top recommended ways to cope with anxiety. And for me, positive affirmations are the first step. Hop in and join on the ride to reducing anxiety one small step a day.

How To Use Positive Affirmations?

1 Choose one to four positive affirmations that really speak to you.
(ps keep coming back for more and change them, because different day you might feel closer to other affirmations than other days)
2 Save them on your phone to keep close at all times.
3 When feeling low, sit down in a quiet place if possible. Start by breathing deeply until count to 10 breaths. (If you need some guidance on breathing, check out this blogpost Deep Breathing Exercises With GIFS To Become Calm)
4 Take one affirmation and repeat it a few times, really getting into the sentence and thinking about it. Once repeated 3 – 4 times, take the second one.
5 Sometimes when I am having ‘way too many windows opened in my mind’, once my mind feels a bit calmed down, I try to mentally go through each problem in my head and solve it. Some are out of my reach, some are just nonsense and others can be solved if I stop running away from them.
